Pretty much always get a junior suite upgrade, service is amazing, never any issues with late checkout, generous with the bottled water at the front desk, and not sure if its because I'm a globalist or frequent visitor but the GM always pops by to say Hi. I once noted a special occasion and received in room wine/french snacks and upgrade to a balcony suite. This is my go to in Paris, I personally prefer HdL over the Park Hyatt.

Also second Grand Hyatt Taipei - have always been treated well here with suite upgrades although rooms are starting to look bit dated they are clean.

Hyatt Huntington Beach has also been generous with suite upgrades, have received a premium suite 2/3 stays without using SUA, breakfast is generous with charges wiped, no issues with late checkout, etc.


On my decidedly NOT gold list would be Hyatt regency Vancouver - have never received a suite upgrade here in 6-7 stays, despite there being availability. also manchester GH which used to be great but no longer.
