Coulda shoulda woulda question: I canceled my Saturday AM X-country to EWR (with a Tuesday return), and ate the $150 fee, and will travel in March, storms willing, instead.

Could I have taken a free swap of my Saturday flight to Sunday, which was canceled, and have gotten a full refund instead?

I need to learn better for next time.
