So stuff like SFO-Europe, SFO-AKL, and even SFO-TPE will all be in range of this aircraft. SFO-BNE definitely is going to a 789 and maybe another frequency during the off-season and peak season, UA could always fly the 77W on it. We'll see what happens with SFO-SYD as this could be one of the routes where we see the High 789 and UA could fly this with more than daily service in the off-season and double daily during peak season, along LAX-SYD switching to this plane as well as IAH-SYD, and IAH-SYD possibly going year-round, albeit less than daily. The High J 789 with the increased MTOW is supposed to excel the most on a route like SFO/LAX-SYD, being able to carry a lot more cargo than previous iterations.
I wonder if the high-J/ IGW 787s will have some sort of sticker or indication from the outside that will distinguish them from regular versions? Although the UA livery is not really one to indicate the aircraft type, not like some other carriers.
