Future flight credits are what you get when you cancel a flight booking. I have confirmed both with UA reservations and it even says on their website:

Future Flight Credit is not the same as TravelBank, which is what OP was asking about. TravelBank is credit obtained either through UA credit cards or purchased and not from cancelled flights.
