This Concorde is not my photo but...

This photo is of a BA/SQ Concorde at Bahrain. I was based in Bahrain during 1977-1978, when BAH was actually a technical stop of the LHR-SIN route. Then, my HQ was in London and I had to see the hq about twice a month. I ended out on that Concorde more than 100 times. BA gave me a model of Concorde that I kept for years but it was lost in a move so I haven't anything other than a couple Concorde blue leather passport wallets.
Not only BA but on a trip to Rio de Janeiro I met the woman who became my spouse. Once decided I could not wait so I took BA Concorde to LHR crossed to CDG and took AF Concorde to GIG. She accepted. We never flew Concorde together but I was later a regular on Concorde JFK-LHR when consulting for a UK clearing bank.
Frankly, I never really liked the airplane as a passenger because ti was so cramped. But it was QUIET at altitude and it did allow day trips when necessary. I'll never will forget those flights.
