At Paris Gare du Nord Eurostar, when both the French and British eGates decided they wanted to have a hard time reading passports, including French passports.

Passed the French gate after trying the reader a lot. But wasn't as lucky with the UK eGate rejected my passport after 3 tries.

Got purpose, length of stay and hotel name before getting allowed in. Which took 5 min as the mic on their side was so bad. No issues thereafter however.
