I noticed something curious and I'm wondering if EF or anyone here might have insights.

AA 2542 from DFW to TYS on January 25th took off 7 hours delayed and made it to Arkansas before diverting back to DFW.

I'd expect any operational reason to have been made while the plane was on the ground at DFW, unless this was an inflight emergency. Not sure if these reasons are posted in EF.
