Absolutely fantastic service on this flight by every FA working in the Polaris cabin. The Purser clearly loved this route and brought her own mini NZ flags to garnish the desserts.

Similar to my LAX-LHR flight last week, I pre-ordered the beef tenderloin with duck fat potatoes but the center-cut sirloin was what was catered and on the printed menu. Enjoyed several glasses of the Mascot while it lasted. For a change, I went with the "fluffy custard brioche toast" for breakfast, but it seemed just like regular french toast to me. Nonetheless, a wonderful flight.

So happy UA serves Christchurch - beats having to take a domestic flight down from AKL after having been traveling for nearly 36hrs!
