I'm putting aside the Main vs. C+ part of this right now, because that may be a glitch. But here's an example where PS-Extra is showing as booking into F on the non-PS leg on some itineraries but not others, all 3 for MCO-Hawaii on the same day.
On MCO-SLC-HNL, MCO-SLC will book into F on a PS-Extra fare.
On MCO-LAX-HNL, MCO-LAX will only book into Main on the PS Extra Fare (again, putting aside the C+ issue for a moment)
On MCO-LAX-KOA, the same MCO-LAX flight as the MCO-LAX-HNL itinerary will book into F on the PS-Extra fare.





This isn't directed at you as I know you're providing the information, not responsible for the reasoning behind it, and the detailed information you provide is always appreciated but this sort of inconsistency by DL, regardless of reasoning, can be incredibly frustrating.
