Recently stayed at this hotel and thought I would offer my opinions.

Pros:
- Location is great for walking around the city or using Toledo Metro Line 1 stop
- FDA was very friendly
- Upgraded to a Panoramic View room upon check-in. More on this below...
- The view from the breakfast area is one of the best I've ever had. Great views of the Castel Nuovo and Vesuvius, if you can see it. Weather didn't cooperate much for me in January 2026
- The shower water pressure is the closest thing to Brazil I've had in years. It's phenom
- It's much quieter in this hotel than it was at the Moxy Pompeii (see my review in another thread). The windows are closed properly. Only some hall noise in the morning as people leave their rooms
- Super close walk to Vittorio Emmanuel I gallery which has Cafe Mary (sfogliatelle). I'm not a big sweets person but these were amazing

Cons:
- Panoramic view is a misnomer. It's a standard room with a single window. It just happens to have "a" view. The room faces the same way the breakfast area does so I could see the volcano and castle. But there's nothing panoramic about it IMO.
- The rooms are very dated. Hello 1980s?
- The shower stall is incredibly small. Forget fitting two people in it with any comfort; a single skinny person is hitting his/her arms on the doors or the walls or the bottles attached to the walls. (But the pressure!!)
- The bed is not that comfortable and all four pillows are too thick for me

Indifferent:
- Breakfast buffet is meh. The food was warm and edible but the selection was not that huge. Maybe because I went up late (they close at 11am), half the things were already emptied and not being replenished. I was not approached once by any staff so they don't even know if I was entitled to breakfast. Nobody asked if I wanted coffee/tea, etc. And I don't think anything cooked like omelettes are included in the elite breakfast.

Overall, it's a 3 out of 5 for me. I rate it highly because of the location and January rate and water pressure. But Naples is a large city with plenty of hotel options to choose from. Marriott just happens to su*k in this one. I almost stayed out at the Four Points given the insanely low rates but it's 1h45m into the city each way and with the horrible weather forecast I didn't want to get caught in the city in the pouring rain with nowhere close-by to duck into.
