Thanks for that recent review. They can do eggs on demand there, they just don't make it obvious, and it does require a cook / chef to be available.
I asked if it would be posisble to have an omelette and told that it was not - maybe no chef available at 06:00 am then. Will ask next time again, in so far thank for the information,

The other point worth making is that bus 5 mentioned has the slightly obscure destination of Cippenham. It recently moved its Slough bus stop to Wellington Street, which is close the Slough railway station, and that has some fast trains to/from Paddington each hour with a 15 minute journey time. 30 minutes is more usual, notably on Elizabeth Line service. So to/from the hotel to Paddington is sometimes faster via Slough.
