I'm just curious, if you're in MUC but couldn't book just MUC-BOS, do you now take the train to ZRH because you don't want to no show and have the 2nd/ main leg canceled? Or is there a way to cancel that first leg to avoid the hassle of having to get to ZRH? I know it's maybe a bigger hassle (depending who you ask) to fly direct in Y but I was wondering if there's a way to get around this.
