I love Row 1. I don't know why, and its not just the extra legroom. Usually when I check in they just assign it to me now (no joke) but never took B6 transcon and was wondering if usually they are requested or taken. One on flight the ticket counter agent said no, once in the gate area at JFK i went to the C.S. desk "seat assignement desk" and I asked and she did it, no questions ask.
