I'm a million miler but in the last year I have become Platinum mostly via CC spend (which I guess is new?) Lifetime *A gold is great, but I'm not seeing a huge benefit from Platinum. The phone line gets to better agents, and I got 40 plus points but since I'm mostly on award travel it's hard to use them! I clicked the offer link thinking that 1K has more of a jump in benefits, but not for $13k or 1.2mm miles!
