Are sheets typically bleached after each guest / during each wash? I can see how significant staining could require extra washing if bleaching isn’t part of the normal procedures and cost calculation. I will make a hotel change the sheets (and likely investigate for bed bugs) if they gave me sheets with visible blood stains.
I feel like the hotel and OP should come to an agreement that they set aside “sheets for OP’s husband” if they plan on continuing to stay there.
I have washed the sheets, in the guest laundry. The stains come out with ease on a cotton hygiene wash. I have taken my own sheets to wash on a few occasions and the washing machines are so good they remove dried in blood stains at 60 degrees.
