I'm travelling with 2 friends to LYS this morning on BA358, I'm on a separate booking to them. I have checked in and got a seat, they couldn't check in and now have boarding passes without seat numbers. Hopefully some other people won't make it and it will all be OK, but if not is there any option better than them waiting for the next BA flight this afternoon?

I can see many hours waiting in LYS in my future, as we're picking up a car there.
