Edit: I recall hearing something from Galardo about possible using the XLR for the LHR day-tripper. I'm not sure I get it as a daytime TATL flight is usually a horrible use of a fin in terms of fleet utilisation, so it needs a lot of premium money to operate and 14 J 0 PY does not scream premium. Or perhaps AC is willing to let an XLR sit there losing money versus a widebody. Narrowbodies already usually sit overnight anyways?
Right now the daytripper is on a 0 J 16 PY aircraft, so the XLR should still be an improvement on that front.
On a separate note, surprised AC still hasn't loaded in the summer schedule beyond Labour Day yet.
