The difference between Titanium and Lifetime Titanium is that you don't have to requalify every year. Other than that, they are the same.

LT PLT under SPG translated into LT Titanium under Bonvoy when Marriott took over.

Lots of hotels provide more/greater benefits than Bonvoy requires. In Asia, for example, it's not unusual to select points as your check-in amenity and
still get free breakfast. Has nothing to do with Lifetime versus non-Lifetime status.
