The Westin hotel shuttle bus to/from the Railway station ( every 1/2hr? - can't quite remember) does do a "drop off" service at 2 places on its way "from" the hotel to the station so that's an easy way to get down to the river etc. Note, from the station to the hotel it's non-stop.
