Anyone have any experience with cleared RUC/GUC during a Weather Waiver? I know during IRROPS once the actual flight is delayed it gives you the other options online (including last F class seat availability) and you can just change yourself. With the weather waiver in place I am still getting this message and trying to avoid having to call in every time I need to make a change to this ticket in case wait times are long (which they will be).
I also know I will get pushback from clueless agents who say RUC/GUC space has to be available, much like they do in the SDC scenario.
Yesterday I changed a flight using the waiver that had GUCs cleared already on all segments. I was unable to do it using the app--getting the same message you did--but a chat agent had it done in 10 minutes and preserved the upgrade space. No pushback at all.
