Hopefully the AA agents are working with the OW liason desk to sort it out. Or, push to go via LHR and avoid PHL. As noted, the BA JV partnership gives more flexibility in re-booking (at least in my experience) and I believe it is noted in the saleslink guides.

I had to call again and explain, and the extra flights were removed.
This happened to me last Friday after some last-minute re-ticketing at the airport and by the CK team. I was sitting on my new (BA) flight with a 125 ticket, and the cabin crew introduced herself to me, however used someone else’s name as her digital manifest didn’t have me. I then checked the AA app to make sure the PNR was cleaned up and noticed that the other BA flight on my original 001 ticket was not removed, and would have likely caused a no-show cancellation for onward travel. Luckily I was able to get through quickly and the agent squared it away, but it requires diligence on the flyer’s part. I also had a bunch of back-up’s booked by the team (though not ticketed) still lingering in the PNR that needed to be removed. Once completed, the manifest fully updated (perhaps the timing was coincidental).
