Mrs and I had 1E/F on MEL-SFO last week and it was great.

That being said, I have had bad experience in row 1 with crew not sensitive to noise they make and privacy of passengers. Remember the crew rest entrance is also in front of row 1 and cockpit crew access to bathroom in front of 1L.

I don’t think most of us are arguing about the issues you raised. When people come to this thread asking for suggestions, most of us are trying to be helpful by sharing our experience so they can make their own decisions.

I have never considered there are debates.
