i have had good luck with UA fish (excluding salmon, which is just salmon). I had halibut a couple of weeks back that was outstanding! A small-medium gamble, but not like the Short Rib.
Chips pushed in? Short Rib!
(I guess the question is, what is worse? A bad piece of fish (smell), or a bad short rib (spitting out fat/gristle) A personal choice!)
We use a simple rule -- on average, which option will suck the least?
It's sad because we both used to enjoy the Asian options on our flights to / from Tokyo -- now it's just beef...
On this flight we will eat in the PL and then once served make the call -- either right to bed or eat. We both sleep to the last second and rarely eat the arrival meal into the EU.
