This is just.a fun little exercise - do you recall the highest fare you have ever seen whlie searching for itineraries on United? I was cleaning out years of old screen shots today and came across one from 2007 when I was tinkering with full-fare first-class tickets on the tiniest most inconvenient airport I could find to places like Sydney, Hong Kong, Bangkok, etc...and found a full-fare first all-UA priced all in to SYD at $27,500 In 2007. 😂 ($42,699 in 2025 dollars).

The highest I ever see these days is maybe $8k - $11k.
