Here's a random question. I'm currently in the middle of an open-jaw itinerary and will need to change my return destination by 600 miles to get home (where I originated on the outbound) vs. going to the second stop on my journey. Assuming a waiver is issued, how might DL calculate a fare difference or make the change to the destination? I am transiting JFK so contemplating buying a second, backup one-way in the event the fare difference is astronomical. Thoughts?
