My reading of the situation, at least from my end, is two simultaneous conversations broke out at the same time and got muddled. One was the specifics for the OPs post (who has never returned to explain). The other was a general discussion about whether scammers had a viable path to utilize the FT (and similar) gift PP threads for gain and what that might look like.
