Surprised to see AS adding several daily flights to AA hub SAN-PHX and SAN-DFW. Booking with AS as an Atmos Gold, I would prefer to fly on AA metal (MCE at booking, little to no chance of F upgrade on AS). With the current shortage of aircraft, it is also surprising to see AS adding service against AA. AS has also taken over SAN-JFK from AA, 2x daily, discontinuing AS SAN-EWR nonstop.
