Yes, I wrote them an email and received the following response:
"We’re happy to clarify that while Inner Circle benefits do include the waiver of destination or amenity fees where applicable, resort fees are not waived as part of the Inner Circle program. As such, the resort fee noted on your reservation will still apply."
I'll be contacting IHG to express my displeasure. It devalues their Inner Circle program. The "Alliance" resorts (i.e. Venetian and Palazzo in LAS) used to get away with this as they were independent of the IHG system, but Kimpton is clearly part of the portfolio.
In the meantime, I'll be avoiding this property and encourage others to do the same. OT, the reviews weren't all that great anyway.
