I stayed here this summer for 5 nights before heading to the Conrad. I’d say it depends what type of holiday you want in the Maldives. If you want a secluded Maldives experience, which is what the Maldives is about, this is not it. If you want a more typical island vacation and want the variety of a bigger place this can be ideal. Breakfast was very good. Not much of an upgrade as a diamond. Water sports were good. It was nice to have the two hotels to vary things. I’d often go to the Hard Rock to swim and walk over there. It’s also nice to be so close to the airport, but again it makes it less remote. The rooms are small…feel a bit prefab.
