The *G not showing is a common problem and it does lead to issues. It sometimes says UAP when it can’t fetch status and that is not good enough for LHG lounges. Re-entering FQTV numbers, re-issuing BPs etc usually helps. I also still carry the last physical 1K card that UA issued, just in case.
