I stayed at Kimpton Margot in Sydney. I got charged the normal rate, and received $150 credit from Chase. A week later, I got charged another $229 that the hotel says is for minibar, but at the desk that was included as part of the $100 credit and acknowledged as such.
Also, no welcome amenity (other than two chocolates on a plate) brought to the room after I checked in (isn't it supposed to be something more, like a bottle of wine or fruit plate??). All in all, I had to pull teeth to get them to honor the perks, including a one-category upgrade.
I'd use it again, but be sure to monitor your bills.
