I'm pure leisure and manage (with effort) to maintain Premier Executive with UA, President's Circle with Hertz, Silver with Marriott, Platinum with Hyatt, and Gold with Hilton.
Of them all, UA means the most to me since I love Economy Plus (don't need First domestically with that) and the 100% mileage bonus is nice. But I'm working on emptying my balance (just booked a First Class award to BCN and plan to earn enough to get another to EZE) which means I'll probably fall back to Premier unless I do some serious mileage running in the Fall.
Hotel status honestly means nothing to me. Rates are so cheap I seldom use points (so I just collect the points) and a hotel room is a place to sleep, so I don't feel the need to "matress run" to earn top-tier status for suite upgrades. The money I say allows me to buy the suite when I need it.
