EDIT: sent prior to readings KARFA's post. Hopefully will not need to go through security, I know I sometimes have not had to go through security when going through Doha and other times have, not sure why!
It was a LHR-DOH-DXB itinerary, with family in tow. One of the pieces of luggage didn't make it, but to be fair it was never loaded at LHR, so that's not an issue with the connection...
