I really wish I could disagree and say that your experience is very unusual but that would be a lie. The contempt of BA for its most frequent flyers is becoming blunt enough to almost feel rude, and all the flight issues you mention have become the sort that one is likely to experience at least once or twice every year. And of course, you didn't even mention issues of cabin cleanliness, failing IT, abysmal club kitchen, films that have been recycled every other month for the best part of 20 years and the more than occasional broken seat/IFE/toilet.
BA has become a very poorly managed airline - at least as far as customer experience is concerned - which should probably use Icona pop (I love it aka "I don't care") as their corporate anthem.
And yes, of course, when it comes to the decline of FFP and notably GGL, I don't want to repeat what others have said here and elsewhere but even people whom I have known to be far more blindly enthusiastic about BA than I ever was around me now seem to feel a lot more critical and cynical.
