Married sector availability is not able to be divorced - where the availability is A-C via B , that is what it is. You could do it by having a stopover where married segment availbility isn't in use or make 2 bookings of A-b and B-C
But BA decides to use married sector. I’ve been flying for decades with BA. This is a new, aggressive, development. Stopovers are only an option if permitted by the fare rules.
