last Sunday I arrived in Frankfurt from Chicago and continued to Norway, on an F ticket that I upgraded by using points. Had access to both fcl and fct. First I slept 6 hours in sleep room in fcl and went to fct for meal afterward. Access was not an issue.
I understood the OP to have a FRA-LAX flight, not v.v.. So he'll have FCT/FCL access in FRA.
