I haven't follow Aeroplan availability lately, but when I did book through them a couple years ago it seemed like they sometimes had ANA award seat availability that was separate from other partners.
As a follow-up to a question I had posed up-thread some months back, my waitlisted F seats for last week did not come through which was the consensus of the group at the time. The F cabin went out completely full on our flight. On the upside, J on the Flying Honu was quite comfortable and the flight was short so it wasn't much of a loss. Also, it seems my transferred miles expiration date was reset by earning miles from the NRT-HNL flight, so that's another plus! Now I need to figure out the best use for those miles.
