Sadly an inevitable consequence of trying to run a fleet of 9 out of ten over quite a long period of time.
Although I’m surprised they are focusing cancellations on this route and not USA in January.
Perhaps a consequence of the ~12hrs downtime in JNB. Getting that time back might help
operationally with a stretched fleet. Could also be a reason for delays concentrated on this route due to the ability to recover a delay.
