FT tends to be a more old skool demographic than the population in general so many of us use desktops (like I am doing now). But the consumption of web content on phones is probably greater amongst the groups that advertisers want to target.
This pretty much sums up my thoughts.
I like the new site and layout. Am probably at the younger end of FT demographic and never used AeroLOPA on a desktop so found the old site quite arduous to use (nor do I use a desktop for anything else really).
This new layout is for me much more intuitive and friendly, and will continue to use it as a great online resource.
