600 0r 800 or shut up
Now, I only got into Tesco last summer, so never had an old premium clubcard and the grandfathered 800 rate.
Last quarter's end - October 31st - I had around 120,000 Clubcard points. I mailed them in and lo, praise be to my Showbusiness gods, they covert the whole lot at the 800 rate.
Making this FTer very happy indeed.
New quarter ends - January 31st - and, due to the lack of action at Tesco bar the last days of the champagne and my unwillingness to get involved with phones and Ebay, I'm sitting on just 17,500 points.
In the interim, I've also switched to automatic transfer to BAEC.
The conversion took place last week, and the statement arrived today to confirm it. I got the 600 rate this time, not the 800.
It means a difference of about 15,000 miles.
Should I ring up and push for the 800 rate? Or don't I know how lucky I was last time and should keep schtum?
I certainly don't want to spark an investigation that might lead to others having miles clawed back.
