On the plus side, eventually it’ll get so bad that the next person will come along and create an actually-functional new hobby version taking it back to basics.
And therein lies the problem. Having been involved in the running of airline information sites for the best part of ten years the issue is that the time taken to get them beyond a certain level is greater than can be achieved on a hobby basis but all attempts at commercialisation meet with user resistance.
