Sure, Kirby has improved the airline in a multitude of areas to make it holistically better, but Vasu sent hordes of high value passengers running from AA into the arms of UA & DL.
Maybe throwing him a 6 month bone on some project separate from the airline is UA's way of saying thanks for the cash.
Not just customers - travel agents. We spent a great deal of time deliberately booking away from AA due to its hostile policies under this guy that made it next to impossible to properly service customers with AA tickets. They became toxic to our industry overnight.

I'm sure there is a thread around here about it someplace, I may have even read it once but obviously forgot about it. Because what isn't ads nowadays. Ads have ads.
I hope they aren't spending too much money on this because in California, for example, we can now order all data brokers to delete everything they know about us, including devices such as cars and smartTVs. Coupled with blocking app tracking on mobile devices, we're thankfully entering an era where data consolidators will be completely blind to what we do, want or buy. That will render this product useless in California, certainly for those who opt out of any form of tracking.
