less than a month ago about a flight only having one breakfast option left by the time the cart reached our exit-row seats on a 787 (and the other choices looked much better). This change definitely fixes that problem but could create other ones--not so much for SDC or standby, where pax have to make the equivalent of a dice roll to get on the plane at all, but for irrops out of a passenger's control.
Meanwhile, what about people who preorder and then have upgrades clear right before or even after the start of boarding?
Kind of wondering when the actual charge is processed. If at the time of ordering, could be a messy refund process if misconnecting, upgraded, etc.
Would be better if the charge goes thru when the item is delivered.
Anyone hear anything about the actual process for this?
