I was complaining here less than a month ago about a flight only having one breakfast option left by the time the cart reached our exit-row seats on a 787 (and the other choices looked much better). This change definitely fixes that problem but could create other ones--not so much for SDC or standby, where pax have to make the equivalent of a dice roll to get on the plane at all, but for irrops out of a passenger's control.

Meanwhile, what about people who preorder and then have upgrades clear right before or even after the start of boarding?
