First flight is ITA from FLR-FCO. Ticket says 1 23kg (50lb bag) with a 2nd bag at $200. I've purchased my FLR-FCO-IAD ticket on UA metal with UA points. I'm thinking of instead buying a business ITA ticket for $171 that will give me 2 free bags and then a UA ticket from FCO. The ITA ticket is refundable and will give me the flexibility to take the train to FCO the day prior if plans change.

**IF** I check in with ITA in FLR, now with their UA partnership, will they check my bags through FCO even though I'm ticketed from FCO on UA?
