Had a reservation from Feb. 19-24. Received this email today:
We have important information to share regarding your reservation at Hyatt Zilara Cancun.
Due to substantial renovations, Hyatt Zilara Cancun will be temporarily closed during your scheduled stay. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and want to ensure your all-inclusive experience remains seamless. We are pleased to offer you the following alternatives:
1. Rebook: Secure your reservation at the available rate at the time of modification for stays after March 31, 2026.
2. Preferred Stay at our Sister Resort: Transfer your reservation to the adults-only Turquoize Tower at our sister property, Hyatt Ziva Cancun just minutes away from Hyatt Zilara Cancun and uniquely surrounded on three sides by the Caribbean Sea.
3. Alternate Destination: Move your reservation to Secrets Mirabel Cancun Resort & Spa or Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya (based on availability) at the same rate as your current reservation.
4. Full Refund: Cancel your reservation with no penalty.
To confirm your preferred option, please contact our reservations team at 1.888.452.3643 or [email protected] by Wednesday, January 21, 2026. If we do not hear from you by then, we will proceed with transferring your reservation to the Turquoize Tower at Hyatt Ziva Cancun.
