I thought I was flying with Finnair for a ski trip this spring. We have two separate award business flights booked for 2, GVA-HEL, then HEL-LAX. The intra-Europe segment comes with 1 baggage, and the TATL segment comes with 2.
Am I reading it correct, that skis do not count as a normal baggage with Finnair? That I will have to pay the extra baggage fee, of 40€ x2 for GVA-HEL and 150€ x2 for HEL-LAX = 380€ total? (These are the prepaid values, if I try to check in at the airport they would charge 90€ x2 + 210€ x2 = 600€)
I guess Finnair isn't really interested in competing in the ski vacation market?
