These promos are run by a third party (Loyalty Status Co), so I suspect that's where some of the disconnect is.

This is what pushed me through on a previous promo (the URL I was given was a third party support website). It took a few emails back and forth after my initial form submission, but eventually it got to someone who could fix it, and they added some miles for the trouble. I don't think the front line chat reps can't do anything on status/miles/promos, I've never been able to get help from them on these types of issues.
