On Dec 31, I was charged $7.99 for Jan 2026, but the corresponding credit hasn't posted as of Jan 12. I called yesterday, and the rep said I have to wait at least 14 days to call back before they will look into this. I told him there must be some system glitch in my case, and I will call back on Jan 15.
As a datapoint, I got charged the 9 dollars for UberOne on 12/31/25 for January. I was worried I wouldn't get the credit for January, but Amex adjusted the posting date to 1/1/26 and gave the credit. So you may get your credit once the system figures out it was meant for January posting.
