Angry Allow me to be frank, what is the PORN policy on flights?

Meant to ask this question some time ago.

Was flying from CLE-BWI on an EMB. The plane, an ERJ-145, was by no means full and the last few rows had only a few people littered throughout the seats. One of these persons, a male in an A shirt (aka wife beater) was sitting on the A side of the plane with the tray table down and his laptop out.

After a trip to the commode I was about to start the journey up the narrow isle to my seat when I noticed something out of the corner of my eye on this persons computer. At first I thought it was a mistake, a trick of the light or the result of the stress of being confined in such a small area. But as I carefully negotiated my way up the narrow isle I discovered to my dismay that I was correct. I had spotted the color of nudity on this classy individuals laptop screen.

But it did not stop there, this person was watching the hardcore, full blown XXX romps around the bedroom in full screen mode! Arrrg! Why would people do this! Wait...let me rephrase that... WHY WOULD PEOPLE DO THIS ON AN AIRPLANE! I've always thought of those adult productions to be somewhat... interactive...privately interactive. By no means is a plane a private place and by no means in heaven or hell is an ERJ a private place!

I just rolled my eyes, hurried up to the comfort of my 1A seat, resumed reading the latest Jared Diamond book (Collapse is quite good by the way) and tried to forget about the entire incident.

Long story short, there is a time and a place for everything. By no means is it acceptable to watch hardcore adult material in an environment that is public, especially when there could be children or people who would be take serious offence to it about. If you are in doubt, remember Continental's motto: Work Hard, Fly Right. However, if you stay hard, stay home.
